Hotel Rwanda

 

总觉得有些电影是你不会去关注的，如果没有特别的推荐，如果没有获过任何奖项，象Hotel Rwanda。我第一次听说这部电影是在05年的奥斯卡的颁奖典礼上，当时这部电影获得了最佳男主角，最佳女配角，最佳原创剧本的几项提名，给我留下了一些印象。后来有一次和BF聊天，他也提到了这部电影，说是部很不错的电影，说他连着看了两遍。

 

今天晚上的时候终于看了这部电影，和BF说这部电影就象辛德勒名单的卢旺达版。故事主要围绕的是在种族屠杀中以卢旺达饭店为掩护挽救了1268位卢旺达胡图族和图西族难民的保罗展开，讲述他如何在卢旺达被世界遗弃的时候想尽一切办法周旋于胡图武装和民兵组织之间以保全避难在他管理的卢旺达饭店的难民们。实在是惭愧，在看这部电影之前，我尽然对这段10多年前发生在卢旺达的惨剧毫无所知。想说这部电影是反映了卢旺达本国的种族残杀，但其实也反映了西方国家对非洲普遍的种族歧视和他们遗弃卢旺达的史实。就象影片开始没多久的时候那个摄影记者所说得那样，即使把屠杀的场面在新闻里播放，人们的反映也只会是：Oh, my god. That is horrible and then go on eating their dinners。西方国家关注的只是自己的国家，自己的人民，只是把卢旺达作为非洲的旅游地，因此在所有的白人撤离之后也就遗弃了卢旺达。所幸，还有极少数关注卢旺达的人们，象维和部队的长官和卫生组织的人员；也很可悲，因为缺少世界的关注，少数有着良知的人们也难以避免悲剧的发生，以至于近100万的卢旺达人在屠杀中失去生命。

 

疯狂的举着砍刀见人就杀的民兵组织，极度想煽动种族仇恨情绪的电台广播，只有在贿赂之前会稍微放下屠刀的军队，你很相信这竟是根据真人真事改编的电影，人性的泯灭让你感觉实在是一件可怕的事情。该庆幸的，不生长在这样的国家；该难过的，这世界上还有如此之多这样的国家。When will the sun return above us? Who will reveal it once again to us? 是影片结束时候歌曲里孩子的童声合唱，想说这只是孩子无辜的疑问么？
